Acceptable Use Policy

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (the AUP) applies to every use of Supromail's hosted service and integrations that use Supromail-provided services. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. The Terms control if there is a conflict.

Prohibited uses

You must not use Supromail to:

send unsolicited email, SMS, WhatsApp, or Telegram messages, or contact a recipient without the consent or other lawful basis required by the law that applies to that recipient;
conduct phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, fraud, impersonation, spoofing, or deceptive sender identification;
distribute content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, facilitates crime, or sexually exploits or endangers a child;
harass, threaten, stalk, dox, or target people or groups with abusive traffic;
evade rate limits, quotas, identity, domain, or phone verification, suspension, carrier controls, or channel restrictions, including by creating multiple accounts;
use an SMS device, SIM, or other connection as an unlawful SIM box, to bypass interconnect or carrier controls, or to evade messaging charges;
probe, scan, or test Supromail or its infrastructure except through the vulnerability-reporting process;
violate the terms or acceptable-use rules of WhatsApp, Telegram, an email relay, a carrier, or any other channel or provider you connect;
transmit payment-card numbers, protected health information, government IDs, biometric data, or other sensitive data where the Service is not contractually or technically approved for that use;
resell the Service or use it to build a directly competing product without written permission; or
violate export-control, sanctions, or other applicable law.

Sender and controller responsibilities

You are the sender of record and, where you determine why and how recipient data is processed, the relevant data controller or equivalent. You are responsible for consent or another lawful basis, sender identification, commercial-message disclosures, opt-out and suppression handling, and records needed to demonstrate compliance.

This includes applicable Nigerian data protection requirements and Nigerian Communications Commission requirements where they apply, including any applicable Do-Not-Disturb or anti-spam rules.

Supromail provides routing infrastructure and may act as your processor for Customer Data; that role does not transfer your sender or legal obligations to us. You must not use our controls, including suppression tools, as a substitute for your own compliance program.

Enforcement and reports

We do not pre-screen every message. We may investigate complaints, traffic patterns, security signals, or suspected violations; preserve relevant evidence; and suspend or terminate access immediately where reasonably necessary to protect people, channels, Supromail, or the public.

We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address imminent harm, fraud, abuse, or a security incident. Where lawful and appropriate, we will provide a notice and a route to explain or appeal an enforcement action, but notice is not required before emergency action.

Report suspected spam, phishing, malware, or other abuse to [email protected]. Do not include unnecessary personal data in a report.

Updates

We may update this AUP as threats, laws, carriers, or channel rules change. Material changes are notified under the Terms. Continued use after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
